Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

CalcSutra does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. All calculations happen locally in your browser — we do not store your inputs or results.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics places cookies on your device to collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, approximate location (country/region level), browser and device type, and how you arrived at CalcSutra. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally.

Data collected by Google Analytics is transmitted to and stored on Google servers. Google may process this information to compile reports on website activity. To opt out of Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3. Advertising

We display advertisements via Google AdSense, a service provided by Google LLC. Google AdSense uses cookies — including those set by the DoubleClick network — to serve personalised advertisements based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These advertising cookies may collect information such as your browsing history, device identifiers, and interactions with advertisements.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You may also opt out via the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.

4. Cookies

CalcSutra uses the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the website to function correctly.
  • Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic and user behaviour (e.g., _ga, _ga_[ID], _gid).
  • Advertising cookies: Set by Google AdSense and DoubleClick to deliver and measure personalised advertisements (e.g., IDE, NID, ANID).

No personally identifiable information is stored in cookies set by CalcSutra itself. For a full list of cookies and detailed management options, see our Cookie Policy.

5. Third-Party Vendors

We use third-party vendors — including Google LLC — who may access cookies to provide services on our behalf. Google acts as a data processor for analytics and advertising. Their practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Advertising Privacy Policy.

6. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
